The Oodie’s Pop-Up Form Made by Chronos Agency Wins Top Spot of Klaviyo’s Top-Performing Forms List of 2020

DECEMBER 8, 2020 — Chronos Agency bags a win with The Oodie’s Pop-up form as Klaviyo ended their 2020 with a shout out to the top-performing sign-up forms, campaigns, and flows that stood out among more than 50,000 eCommerce brands during the course of the year.


A True Standout: The Oodie’s Pop-Up Form Wins 1st Place

The Oodie’s pop-up form came out #1 in Klaviyo’s Top 10 Performing Sign-Up Forms of 2020 list. Their pop-up form, along with other sign-up forms in the list, saw an average submission rate of 44.13%. 

As discussed by Natalie Higgins (Learning and Development Program Manager at Klaviyo), here are some highlights behind this win:

  • Clear Call to Action (CTA)
  • Standout Design
  • Personalization

Meanwhile, Miles Camomot (Senior Email Marketing Manager at Chronos Agency) shared how the Chronos team created The Oodie’s top-performing pop-up form.

Our winning strategy behind the Oodie’s pop-up form was to use more bold colors against the website’s more muted design and to literally make it look like the woman was popping out of the form so it stood out.

This was really meant to go out to anyone who visited the website so we paid extra attention to detail on things like display timing and settings—we did that by looking at their (The Oodie’s) customer behavior on the website itself.

Chronos Agency Launches New Marketing Labs Initiative for Edgy Data-Driven Email Marketing Strategies

Email marketing is anything but a “set it and forget it” type of tool. Chronos Agency recognizes this, as well as the need for continuous research and development of new email marketing strategies. After all, it’s the only way to move forward into 2020.

As part of our goal to start the year strong, Chronos Agency has launched a new initiative called Marketing Labs. This promising venture is made up of an inter-departmental organism.  It was conceptualized in late 2019 with the vision of developing advanced strategies and original scientific content. 

With this core initiative in place, the Marketing Labs positions the Chronos team as an individualized yet cohesive entity to support our co-founder and CEO, Josh Chin’s vision into the new decade. We’re in for some exciting times.

When Two Departments Collide and Collaborate

Our Fulfillment and Marketing Departments have joined forces to bring Marketing Labs to life.  Essentially, Marketing Labs will focus on designing experiments to prove or dismiss various theories or hypotheses when it comes to email marketing strategies. Each experiment would have its own design, sample group, and designated period of implementation before the analysis of the results. 

Real results, real people. The results of these experiments will serve as source material for original content and case studies.

Giving theories an edge— whether tried-and-proven or the new age fare, we’re excited to see what the findings will be. 

This is one of the justifications for Marketing Labs,” Marco Noceda, Senior Email Marketing Manager talks about his brainchild. “It will provide much more specialized & innovative information that we can share as original content.”

Before January ended, the beta phase of Marketing Labs had already commenced with Experiment #1. The Marketing arm of Chronos Agency is currently pending a conclusion to the first-ever internal experiment by Marketing Labs. So stay tuned on our Facebook for incoming updates as early as March next month!

What can eCommerce businesses expect and gain from Chronos Agency’s Marketing Labs?

There is a lot to look forward to from Marketing Labs! All creative ideas and hypotheses will undergo rigorous testing phases by the email experts within the fulfillment team, and backed by qualitative experimental procedures.  Simply put, this scientific approach will impart a qualitative significance to new email marketing strategies to be proposed backed by real data. 

This initiative is a celebration of ideas, insights, and thinking outside the box during the quest for increasing email revenue. Chronos Agency’s clients and potential clients will find themselves in the hands of critical thinkers who are always on the lookout for the next best strategy.

Encouraging Growth and Inspiration—Titanium Mastermind by Vince Tan

PHUKET, THAILAND—Last December 14 – 16, Vince Tan, Co-founder and CEO of Shock Media Studio, held the Titanium Mastermind. Here, the great minds of the eCommerce world came together. They shared and inspired ideas among their peers. Chronos Agency’s very own co-founder and CEO, Joshua Chin, was invited to experience the brain juice-rich environment during the Titanium Mastermind.

Attendees consisted of business owners and entrepreneurs. They ranged from startups to established businesses with 9-figure annual revenue from all over the world. All of which took part in an intellectual exchange Josh found to be super engaging.

Every presentation was highly participative and compelling. This helped to promote a positive and growth-driven atmosphere for everyone present.

We have plans for a possible webinar or interview video happening in early January 2020. This interview will cover the incorporation and importance of SMS into your marketing campaigns during the post-holiday downtime for building hype to upcoming holiday events.

There is also an upcoming collaboration between Chronos Agency and Ezra Firestone for the Blue Ribbon mastermind session. Here, Josh was invited to be a speaker in front of more than 100 8-figure eCommerce business owners. Basically, Josh’s presentation will be an in-depth discussion about the inner workings of email marketing and what it can do for eCommerce brands.

AWA 2019 MAIN STAGE: Josh Chin on How to Take Control of the Holidays using Email Marketing

From December 4 to 5 2019, our very own Joshua Chin—Co-Founder and CEO of Chronos Agency—stood in the spotlight as an esteemed guest speaker during this year’s Affiliate World Asia Event (AWA). The event took place at the Bangkok Convention Center, Thailand. AWA 2019 was definitely an opportunity for Josh to share his expertise in the eCommerce space.

AWA 2019 was where Josh, along with affiliate marketers, eCommerce business owners, and companies came together for one of the biggest events of the year. 

The likes of Anthony Sarandrea (Top-ranked Lead Generator in the U.S.), Dimitri Nikolakakis (8-Figure Growth Marketer and Agency Owner), and Matt Diggity (Expert Affiliate Property Flipper), shared tips, insights, and ideas that helped their eCommerce journey.

Other noteworthy speakers who took the stage during AWA 2019 were some of Josh’s friends in the industry. Savannah Sanchez—the authority on Facebook and Snapchat ads—led the opening of the event. Meanwhile, eCommerce magnates Steve & Evan Tan and Angus Kong closed the event with a productive panel session.


Engaging and insightful discussions aplenty 

One highlight was Nick Shakelford’s unique presentation. He used a live creative contest style of delivery, and this segment got the highest engagement during the event.

Van Oakes’ presentation was also a highlight. It was a super interesting discussion about how he was able to make $1.4M in a month using an app called Tapcart. According to Van, this app helped him build a mobile app version of his Shopify store in just two hours.

Some of the notable benefits Van shared upon the use of this app were—

  • The control he was given over his customers’ data
  • Streamlining of his buyer journey (condensing the purchase process down to just a few taps)
  • The ability to launch unlimited push notifications for free
  • And finally, the app’s integration with every other marketing channel he uses

Intellectual intermingling sparks inspiration

It’s already given that AWA and other similar events are for the advancement of relevant skills and absorption of knowledge. Josh reflected on the event and has concluded the following for Chronos Agency:


We need to reanalyze the way we look at the customer journey—starting from the point of initial attention to conversion and retention.


Can we build the customer journey beyond Facebook and beyond the website to gain more control over our interaction with our customers?


It’s safe to say that many eCommerce entrepreneurs would think similarly after the event. After all, every business undergoes a never-ending phase of evolution. It is through events like this that eCommerce businesses are gently steered towards the right direction of evolution.

Based on his experience at AWA 2019, Josh shared that the content of the event was top-notch. With presentations led by elite experts, there was no end to all the intellectual stimulation.

Josh also shared that high-level networking and meet-ups were super impactful and fun. He got to hear from people who took different paths and found their own success in what they did.

What moved him was everyone’s mindset of always being humble and always being ready to learn. As a result of this event, Josh is also happy to announce that many potential partnerships and collaborations are now in the works. 

During Josh’s turn on stage, he saw a rough estimate of around 500 attendees. That’s 500 information sponges eager to absorb his insights.

The feedback he received—people loved it!

Comments ranged from Josh’s presentation being too short wherein the audience wanted more, to comments stating they love how straight-to-the-point Josh was with his discussion. In addition to that, the audience praised the clean, minimalistic, and impactful slides used in the presentation.

And finally, everyone’s bottomline on Josh’s presentation was that he brought to light loads of new ideas for growing their businesses using email marketing.

These eager learners don’t have to worry though! Chronos Agency has plans for more webinars hosted by Josh himself. So keep your eyes peeled for any announcements on that!
